S-N-As Ring Systems
The compound is obtained in a poor yield (21%) when N,N’-bis(trimethylsilyl)sulfurdiimide is treated with dichloro(methyl)arsine in the mole ratio 1:2 at room temperature in an N2 atmosphere. It is formed in a minimal yield when the heterocycle S2N4As2(CH3)2 is treated with elemental sulfur in absence of a solvent: Open image in new window
