Compounds of Nitrogen with Noble Gases

  • Chapter
N Nitrogen

Abstract

Species composed of nitrogen and noble gases are described in the following chapter. They are variably called compound, van der Waals complex, exciplex, or cluster and are uniformely written like a true chemical compound regardless of the kind of interaction between nitrogen and noble gas. Neutral species are treated first; the more important ions, particularly singly charged cations, follow.
