Abstract

As far as glycoproteins are concerned, at present there is no common international nomenclature. Many investigators have examined them by using various methods of analysis and used more or less different terms independently. Therefore, it is necessary to understand sufficiently the methods of analysis used by each investigator. In this monograph, the following definitions are proposed according mainly with those of Shetlar.188)
