Abstract
The liver injury type is resulted from the following two changes: 1) that caused by the decreased hepatic synthesis of serum proteins with the exception of immunoglobulins, and 2) the change caused by the increased immunoglobulin synthesis. Therefore, the characteristic electrophoretic pattern of serum proteins show the decrease in the albumin and α fractions and the increase in the γ fraction (Fig. 148).
