Zusammenfassung

Die Anästhesie bei thorakalen Aortenaneurysmen ist wegen des hohen operativen Risikos eine besondere Herausforderung für den Anästhesisten. Die Mortalität beträgt bei der akuten Dissektion thorakaler Aneurysmen 15–45 %, bei elektiver Resektion hingegen etwa 5–6 %. Die Erkrankung betrifft v. a. ältere Patienten mit Arteriosklerose, die häufig zusätzliche Risikofaktoren aufweisen.
