Abstract

The aim is the possibility of reconstruction bonetissue after tumor or infection by sterilizing the defective bone segment with high hydrostatic pressure and reimplanting this segment. It was observed in which way the mechanical characteristics were influenced by high hydrostatic pressure as well as biological observations were done, at which pressure levels tumor cells are to be inactivated.
