Huygens’ Principle in the Theory of Wave Propagation
We consider space-time M n+1 = B n x ℝ, where B n is “physical space,” and R is the “time axis.” (Most of what follows carries over word for word to the case of the bundle M n+1 → ℝ over the time axis, and a great deal of it also carries over to the case when the role of time is played by a fibration into “isochrones” or even the zeros of a nonclosed differential form “dt” on M.)
