Abstract
In accordance with the Born-Oppenheimer theory, the dynamics of nuclei is determined by an adiabatic Hamiltonian H f (R). Let us consider the adiabatic potential for the ground electronic state. The equilibrium positions in the ground state are assumed to be zero.
