Abstract

The postal sector is presently experiencing pressures to change its institutional framework and competitive practices as well as a strong drive towards process and product innovation with a high strategic impact. Although the patterns followed by these developments are often similar, the extent of innovation, the resolution shown by the operators in their strategic choices and the range of options available to Post Office administrators in the various countries are different.
