Abstract

This conference, jointly organized by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank and the Joint Vienna Institute, has continued the tradition of high-level conferences aimed at promoting the dialogue and understanding between various regions in Europe. As in previous years, this conference has succeeded in bringing together representatives of international organizations, central bank officials of high standing from the Eurosystem and the Central and East European countries (CEECs), as well as various academic institutions. As a token of this international representation, a total of 370 participants from 36 countries have taken part in this conference.
