Eosinophilic Fasciitis and Related Syndromes
In 1974, Shulman described for the first time a new disease profile, similar to scleroderma, which is characterized by a diffuse fasciitis with hypergammaglobulinaemia and blood eosinophilia which he later designated as eosinophilic fasciitis (EF) or diffuse EF.
