Abstract

Since the present monograph is focused on the clinical and diagnostic pathology of GvHD, the findings presented are exclusively based on the study of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues, as employed in routine pathology. This applies to the histomorphological and immunohistological investigations performed as well as to the published data cited. This should ensure that the findings reported are relevant to clinical and diagnostic pathology in man.
