Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the current situation of the National Vertical Geodetic Network of Mexico including operation indicators, data, precision, digital file availability, condition of the National Mareographic System, elevation values referred to the mean sea level, its correlation with values referred to NAVD88 and its application in the digital geographic data production. Finally, the projects for the linkage of the network to a datum correlated with the reference framework associated to the ellipsoid GRS80 and the geoid determination in Mexico are mentioned.
