Abstract
It would appear that consumers have never had so much food choice. The supermarket aisles are now filled with items from all over the world, in every shape and size. For those who don’t have much time to prepare food for themselves, a whole host of convenience foods are available. And if we are worried that we aren’t getting enough of all the nutrients that we need we can always pick one of the vast array of dietary supplements, fortified and functional foods that are increasingly coming on to the market.
