Abstract

Now let χ be an arbitrary smooth n-dimensional manifold (of class C r , r ≥ 1). For any point p 0χ, we let A (p 0) denote the set of all charts (U, h) of this manifold for which p 0U (we say in this case that these charts are centered at p 0).
