Abstract
When discussing the application of certain thermodynamic property models to mixtures, problems result frequently from the fact that demands on such models are very different depending on the assumed application. Thus, it is important to characterise the type of intended application before discussing certain models. To do so, one may distinguish between two major groups of applications which result in completely different demands on thermodynamic property models.1
