Abstract
The techniques of conformal invariance presented in this book are restricted to systems which are, at least in the critical regime, isotropic and static. It is of interest, however, to investigate to what extend ideas and techniques developed for conformally invariant systems can be carried over to this more general situation. At present, this field is still in its infancy and there remains plenty of scope for further investigations.
