Abstract

In this chapter we discuss the sound field of a point source in horizontally stratified liquid media, both moving and motionless. All the medium parameters as well as the medium particles’ velocity are functions of a single, “vertical”, coordinate z. Works concerning the same problems for solid media will be mentioned in the bibliography.
