Abstract

In this chapter, we consider an infrared problem with fermions, which is physically more realistic than the ultraviolet problem in ø4 theory. In infrared problems, the perturbation expansion is singular because of the slow decay of the free propagator at large distances, not because of a short-distance singularity.
