Abstract
Transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMLR) is a relatively new treatment modality for patients with inoperable end stage coronary artery disease. It results in significant relief of angina in patients with end-stage coronary artery disease. The indications for this therapy are still evolving as results of ongoing and recently completed studies are extensively scrutinized. Continuous evaluation is essential in order to verify the validity of these results and establish long-term outcomes. The objective of this report is to analyze our data for 53 TMLR procedures performed over the last 5 years.
