Polyalphabetic Encryption: Families of Alphabets
Monoalphabetic encryption uses some encryption step (possibly a polygraphic one) over and over. All the encryption steps treated in Chapters 3–6 can be used monoalphabetically — this was tacitly assumed in the examples.
