Abstract
We describe organisations as constraint based, adaptive collections of processes and assume the notion of (constrained) interaction as basic. Concurrency theory is proposed as a purely process-theoretic theory of abstract organisations and π-calculus is introduced as a calculus of processes configurations and mobility.
