Abstract
Any industrial facility is a complex entity which needs many different skills to operate properly (i. e., management, financing, marketing, purchasing, scheduling, labor) Planning and implementing a pollution prevention program is just as complex, because pollution prevention ethic must permeate every activity conducted at the facility. However, an industrial facility can benefit from a well-planned and executed pollution prevention effort, especially when it is integrated with existing corporate programs so as to avoid the effort and expense of establishing a new program.
