Verification and Validation of Complex Systems: Human Factors Issues

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NATO ASI F,volume 110))

Abstract

What poses problems or questions, in the task complexity, for the man-machine interface? This could represent our first question in this paper. But this question itself contains three questions: What is a complex task? What are the problems, deriving from this complexity, for operator activity? And what are the problems for the man-machine interface?
