Abstract
Upper extremity patterns are used to treat dysfunction caused by muscular weakness, incoordination, and joint restrictions. The arm patterns are also used to exercise the trunk. Resistance to strong arm muscles produces irradiation to weaker muscles elsewhere in the body.
