High Gradient Magnetic Cell Sorting

  • Chapter
Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting

Part of the book series: Springer Laboratory ((SLM))

Abstract

Magnetic cell sorting is a powerful tool for the isolation of certain cell subsets from cell populations. So far magnetic cell sorting has been used for isolation of many cell types in human [1] and animals, but also for separation of plant cells and bacteria [2].
