Abstract

Konrad Lorenz wrote in his book Behind the Mirror “In the last analysis all complex structures of the entire range of organisms have arisen through the selection pressure of survival functions.” What I want to show is the following: Not only physical performances have developed under selection pressure but also informational performances achieved by the sensory organs, the nervous system, information technology and cultural exchange.
