Abstract

This chapter describes efforts of the SFB 95 in the investigation of processes affecting sediment transport and accumulation in Kiel Bight, an area which offers favorable conditions for studies of this kind. Insight into such processes was applied for the paleo-environmental interpretation of the Holocene sediment column.
