Abstract

In this chapter we extend the results of Chapter 4 so that infinite horizon optimal control problems whose dynamics are described by linear partial differential equations can be considered. That such generalizations are useful in economics is clear from the recent introduction of infinite dimensional models in the literature. Specifically, we refer the reader to (Ref. 4), (Ref. 8), (Ref. 9), (Ref. 10), for more precise descriptions of such models.
