Integral Foam Based on Polyurethanes

  • Chapter
Integral/Structural Polymer Foams

Abstract

Integral PUR foams are manufactured using the same raw materials as those used for non-integral PUR foams, viz., hydroxyl-bearing oligomers, usually oligoethers or oligoesters, and di- or polyisocyanates, with tertiary amines, organometallic compounds and metal salts as catalysts, together with surfactants and foaming agents.
