Recent Progress in Quantum Inverse Scattering Method — Baxter Hierarchy and Its Applications

Abstract

The Baxter model is generalized to the higher dimensional representations of SU(2) group. The factorized S-matrix, q-state vertex model and XXZ Heisenberg model of spin S are treated from the unified point of view. Some features of SU(2) Thirring model are also discussed.
