Surgical Management More Than Three Weeks After Injury
In patients seen more than three weeks after injury extensive callus formation and difficulties in surgical approach reduce the ease of open reduction of fractures of the acetabulum. Formerly, the majority of cases were left for eventual salvage by total hip arthroplasty.
