Zusammenfassung
In dieser Abhandlung soll gezeigt werden wo heute noch Unterschiede zwischen Desktop-Publishing und Foto-Satz zu erkennen sind, wo die Grenzen verschwimmen und welche Abgrenzungsprobleme zwischen den Bereichen existieren. Besonders berücksichtigt werden dabei die beiden schwerwiegendsten Themen in dieser Diskussion, Bedienoberfläche und Schrift. Ebenfalls wird versucht einige Anregungen für den zukünftigen Umgang mit Desktop-Publishing zu geben.
Abstract
The following novel concerns with the main differences between Desktop-Publishing and Fototypesetting, with the question where the boundaries between these two fields begin to vanish and what kind of problems exist defining them. The both main themes of discussion, user-interface and typefaces will be especially considered. The author also tries to give some suggestions for future use of Desktop-Publishing.
