Abstract
This paper describes a low cost personal workstation developed within Olivetti’s Research Department. This project’s code name is EPOC for Experimental Personal Office Computer. It is Olivetti Research’s first V.I.P.(Very Important Project) which ties together the resources of laboratories in Italy, the UK and the USA.
