Zusammenfassung

Als Grenzwert zur Hypertonie wird in der Schwangerschaft ein Blutdruck von 140/90 angesehen. Höherliegende Werte werden als pathologisch beurteilt [1, 4, 5]. Obwohl die Nachteile der Blutdruckmessung mit den üblichen Sphygmomanometern bekannt sind, beziehen sich doch die meisten Untersuchungen auf diese Methodik. Es liegen allerdings auch Studien über eine direkte Messung des intraarteriellen Blutdrucks vor [41]. Die Autoren fanden jedoch eine relativ hohe Übereinstimmung zu den üblichen einfacheren Meßmethoden. Es wurde keine Beziehung der Blutdruckhöhe zur Dicke des Armes oder des Durchmessers der Hautfalte in diesem Gebiet gefunden [41].
