Organtransplantate zwischen Individuen einer Art (allogene/homologe Transplantate) werden in jedem Fall durch eine Immunantwort des Empfängers gegen die Transplantationsantigene des Spenderorgans zerstört = abgestoßen, wobei die Heftigkeit der Abstoßungsreaktion proportional dem Grad der genetischen Disparität zwischen Empfänger und Spender ist.
