Zusammenfassung

Das Adenocarcinom des Pankreas, welches 2% aller Carcinome und 10% jener des Magen-Darm-Traktes ausmacht, nimmt zu. In den USA z.B. hat es das Magencarcinom an Häufigkeit überholt. Es ist v.a. im Pankreaskopfbereich lokalisiert (70%). Auch wenn die diffus auftretenden Formen selten sind, werden multizentrische Carcinome gelegentlich angetroffen.
