Zusammenfassung
Es gibt penetrierende und stumpfe Leberverletzungen. Die Zahl der Stichverletzungen geht zurück, perforierende Schußverletzungen hingegen werden zahlreicher v.a. aber ist ein starker Anstieg der Zahl schwerer subcutaner Leberrupturen zu verzeichnen. Letztere sind die Folge der fortschreitenden Technisierung und Motorisierung mit ihren zunehmenden Gefahren stumpfer Gewalteinwirkung auf Abdominal- und Thoraxorgane. Trotz ihrer geschützten Lage sind die parenchymatösen Oberbauchorgane hierbei besonders betroffen. 5— 30% aller Kranken mit einem stumpfen Bauchtrauma weisen eine Leberverletzung auf [19]. Meist besteht eine Kombination mit anderen Verletzungen im Rahmen eines Polytraumas.
