Zusammenfassung
Unser aufrechter Gang ist ein aktiver Prozeß des Bewegungs- und Lagesinns. Um nicht zu fallen, wird die Bein- und Rumpfmuskulatur durch den Bewegungs- und Lagesinn zu ständigen Korrekturbewegungen angeregt. Störungen oder ein Ausfall des Bewegungsund Lagesinns führen zu Schwindel oder Fallneigung, bis hin zur Unmöglichkeit aufzustehen. Der Betroffene ist an das Bett gefesselt. Schwindel ist eines der häufigsten Symptome, dessentwegen Patienten ihren Arzt aufsuchen. Handelt es sich um Drehschwindel, Liftschwindel oder Gangabweichungen, so stammt der Schwindel mit ziemlicher Sicherheit von einer Erkrankung des Bewegungs- oder Lagesinns.
