Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb der Disziplin des Operations Research sind eine große Anzahl von Algorithmen (insbesondere der Optimierung) entwickelt und eine stattliche Reihe von Standardmodellen für häufig auftretende Problemstellungen vorgestellt worden. Der Prozeß des Modellentwurfs scheint jedoch nur in Ausnahmefällen das Interesse der Wissenschaftler auf sich gezogen zu haben.
