Abstract
This paper is related to a large scale distribution system which is prepared for the Turkish State Monopoly. The biggest state economic enterprise produces about 200 different products such as cigarettes and alcohol drinks in 25 factories. The monopoly also distributes and sells the products to 700 sales points all around Turkey. Up to now, according to the distribution system organization there was a direct link between factories and the sales points. The system had not a computer and the speed of information flow was not satisfactory.
