Zusammenfassung
25 Jahre sind inzwischen vergangen, seit H.M. Markowitz in seinem richtungweisenden Aufsatz “Portfolio Selection” [9] die Grundlagen für die Portfolio-Theorie legte. Seitdem erfreut sich dieses Gebiet regen theoretischen und empirischen Zuspruchs. Ein Grund hierfür ist sicherlich darin zu sehen, daß dieses Gebiet quantitativen Methoden besonders zugänglich ist; außerdem mag sich so mancher Wissenschaftler hier ein kleines Zubrot erhofft haben.
