Zusammenfassung
Industrieunternehmen können als Folge von Investitionen aufgefaßt werden. Man gibt Geld aus für die Errichtung von Produktionsstätten in der Erwartung zukünftiger Einnahmen. In der Regel ist die Summe der Einnahmen größer als die ursprüngliche Ausgabe: Der Überschuß der erwarteten Einnahmen über die getätigte Ausgabe ist der Totalgewinn der Investition.
