Summary
With a view to planning, optimizing and quantizing of the advantage of EDP-assisted disposition systems for industrial transportation, a simulation model has been developed. Thus the construction of different variants of EDP disposition systems is possible. Their efficiency as compared to order handling without EDP can be assessed. It is shown by two simple examples which factors influencing the efficiency of decisions have to be taken into account.
