Zusammenfassung
Unter Logistik versteht man kurz gesagt alle Tätigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit der Lagerung und dem Transport von Gütern, die eine bestimmte Nachfrage befriedigen sollen. Die in diesem Bereich auftretenden Probleme betreffen neben der Lagerhaltung Standort- und Zentralisierungsfragen, inner- und ausserbetriebliche Transporte, die Tourenplanung etc. Die zur Anwendung gelangenden quantitativen Methoden sind mitunter die Simulation, Prognose-verfahren, ganzzahlige Optimierung, graphentheoretische Verfahren und vor allem auch heuristische Methoden. Letztere werden sehr oft bei Transport-, Tourenplanungs- und Standortproblemen eingesetzt. Trotz der grossen Bedeutung dieser Verfahren beschränken wir uns hier auf die wichtigsten graphentheoretischen Optimimierungsalgorithmen. Ausserdem kann nur auf einen Teil der verfügbaren Literatur eingegangen werden.
