Zusammenfassung

Das Virus enthält einen DNS-haltigen Innenkörper und einen Proteinmantel, der die Symmetrie eines Ikosaeders zeigt und der wiederum von einer Hülle umgeben ist. Diese Hüllmembran enthält Lipide, so daß die Infektiosität empfindlich gegen Äther ist. Die Virushülle besitzt einen Durchmesser von 180 mμ, das „nackte“ Virion von 110 mμ und weist 162 Capsomere auf.
