Zusammenfassung
Die in Kapitel 2 beschriebenen Verfahren zur Lösung des Projektionsproblems erfordern typischerweise eine Inversion der Gram’schen Matrix. Die Inversion stellt theoretisch kein Problem dar, solange die beteiligten Vektoren linear unabhängig sind. Aufgrund einer endlichen Rechengenauigkeit kann eine schlecht konditionierte Gram’sche Matrix allerdings trotz einer linearen Unabhängigkeit der Vektoren zu großen Fehlern führen.
