Some Considerations Regarding at the Legal Status of the Telework Contract in the Romanian Legal System

Abstract

The scientific approach starts with a clarification of the concepts that will be used along the way, respectively those of employer, employee, individual employment contract, types of individual employment contract, telework contract. According to the “Framework Agreement on telework” on July 16th 2012, the Romanian legislator adopted the Law no. 81/2018 regarding of the telework contract. The scientific approach aims to analyse the Law no. 81/2018 and to outline the legal status of telework contract in the Romanian legal system. Although the study identifies some issues which should have been regulated in another way, the Law nr. 81 is a regulation necessary and important for work relationships in continuous transformations according to economic and social realities from the Romanian system.
