Abstract

This chapter gives a concise overview of the plan of inquiry (cf. Josselson and Liebich 2003 in: Rudestam and Newton 2015) and data of the dissertation at hand. The investigation on foundations in social welfare is divided into distinct parts. First, regime theories of the political economy literature are analyzed and build the theoretical background for the investigation of foundations in social welfare.
