Durch die Auswirkungen der VUKA-Welt hat die organisationale Resilienz an Aufmerksamkeit und Bedeutung gewonnen. Resilienz bewegt sich damit aus dem „Nischendasein“ in Arbeitssicherheit, Gesundheitsmanagement und Coaching heraus und fokussiert sich auf die Prinzipien und die Praxis der organisationalen Belastbarkeit. Sie ist damit zu einem umfassenden Ansatz geworden, der auf dem Wissen und den Erfahrungen einer Vielzahl von miteinander verbundenen Managementdisziplinen aufbaut. So verstanden ist Resilienz weder Teil einer Managementdisziplin noch Domäne eines Beratungsansatzes.
